I guess you all will want to know more about the characters in
this cheesy comic, huh? Of course you do, that's why you came
here! Alright then!
This handsome
sprite is my 16-bit counterpart in the comic. And he's also the
star! Hey, it's my comic, I'll do what I want with it. Being the
main star, he has almost all the lines. He's cynical from time to
time, and when he's not being cynical, he's kicking bad-guy-butt
in Videogame Land. He has a good handle on the rules of Videogame
Land. Quote: "No No No! I'm just too lazy to think of something mystical-sounding."
This is TJ. He's
also a real person outside of the strip. I put him in because I
wanted three characters, and he was a reasonable choice (however,
I've begun to question that.) Smart-aleky and paranoid, he takes
the base sprite of Protoman, a Capcom-owned character. TJ usually
is subject to Matt's hairbrained schemes when Matt doesn't feel
like putting himself in danger. Quote: "Less talking! More
shooting!"
Meet Krista.
She's also a real life friend of mine. Only catch is, I only know
her from the internet. She's smart and nice, but she has very
little videogaming experience. And even fewer sprites! However,
this doesn't keep her from kicking butt when the boys can't
manage to do it. Quote: "Both of you! SHUT UP!"
Every videogame
has it's supervillian, and a comic about videogames shouldn't be
different. I present to you Syndikate X, other wise known as Ari.
Ari used to be a villian in real life, but he's out of that stage
now. However, his videogame persona is still evil. And it's a
good thing he is, too! Otherwise, the strip would suck. Quote:
"Go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!"
All
supervillians have stupid henchmen to carry out their orders. Ari
is no exception! Back when TJ was going to infiltrate Ari's
headquarters, a turquoise robot tried out for the position of
evil henchman and got it. He was dubbed "Turquoise", or
"Turq". He's Ari's right-hand man, and will be in many
more strips.
Another person from real life, but unfortunatly, I'm too lazy to edit a Bass sprite to make Jared. So, because of my indesiciveness, I've made him into a shapeless blob, or a ghost. He could posses ninja skills and be the happy center of the comic but, because this requires arms and legs, he isn't.
